Partner
Todd is a Partner at Switchback Capital. Prior to Switchback, Todd accumulated over 15 years of experience in real estate private equity with over $250M of acquisitions and development at Longview Equity and as a former Managing Director with Kennedy Wilson. Todd has been in Austin since the late 1990s when he cofounded AIM Technologies alongside two of his MBA colleagues and Tim Keyes and chose Austin, TX for the company’s headquarters. Todd holds a BA from Stanford (where he met Tim) and an MBA from Kellogg at Northwestern. Todd currently serves on the Boards of Smokey Mo’s BBQ and Carlisle Wide Plank Floors.

Tim is a Partner at Switchback Capital and also serves as the CEO of Keyes Capital, which manages his family’s investments in private equity, real estate, alternative investments, public equities, and fixed income. Prior to founding Keyes Capital, Tim worked at the family office of Lubar & Co., Robert W. Baird, software companies AIM Technologies and Trilogy, McKinsey & Co., and Morgan Stanley. Tim currently serves on the Board of Directors at Shield Air Solutions, Propep Surgical, Smokey Mo’s BBQ, Carlisle Wood Flooring, and Dundee Football Club. He also serves as an Advisor to the artificial intelligence company Ayata. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Quantitative Economics from Stanford University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Tim met Todd as freshmen who made Stanford’s Varsity Soccer Team their first semester at university. He was formerly a Trustee of Saint Michael's Catholic Academy, St. Gabriel’s Catholic School, and Marquette University High School.

Nick joined Switchback Capital as a Partner after nearly two decades at GLG. Most recently, he served on GLG’s leadership team, overseeing marketing and relationships with the firm's network of experts. Prior to this role, Nick managed GLG’s division serving strategy consultancies and other professional services firms, responsible for a $100M+ P&L. While at GLG, he helped manage the GLG EMEA Research team in London during the European sovereign debt crisis, founded the company’s Austin location (now the company’s largest office), and initially joined the company in New York to help grow the Energy & Industrials practice. Nick met Tim and Todd in Austin directly out of university when he joined their technology startup, building loyalty solutions for sports teams and entertainment venues. Nick graduated from Cornell University and holds a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia. He has served on the Board of Lord Baltimore Capital, Lantha Sensors, and the Advisory Council for the Dean of the College of Natural Sciences at the University of Texas.
